Number portability allows you to keep using your existing business phone numbers when you switch over to Ultatel’s VoIP phone system. You won’t need to change any of your printed materials, online listings, advertising, or other assets that display your phone number.Â
Ultatel makes it easy to port your numbers over from your old phone system. We’ll handle contacting your current provider and facilitating the transition.Â
How Ultatel Number Portability Works
To port your numbers to Ultatel:Â
- Your Ultatel sales representative will gather details on your current phone numbers and provider.
- We submit the port request to your provider on your behalf.Â
- Your provider releases your numbers, which may take up to 2 weeks.Â
- We configure your numbers in your new Ultatel phone system.Â
It’s a simple process with no downtime or disruption. You get to keep your existing numbers and gain all the benefits of Ultatel’s VoIP system.Â
