Submit a Privacy Rights Request to Ultatel
Use this page to submit a request to exercise your privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, or other applicable U.S. state privacy laws.
1. Who Can Submit a Request
You can submit a privacy request if you are:
- a current or former Ultatel customer or account-holder;
- a website visitor, prospect, or person who has interacted with Ultatel’s marketing or sales activities;
- an authorized agent acting on behalf of any of the above; or
- an end user of an Ultatel business customer (see Section 4 below for special handling).
2. Available Request Types
Depending on your state of residence and your relationship to Ultatel, the following privacy rights may be available to you:

Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing | Although we do not sell Personal Information for monetary consideration, you may opt out of any “sharing” under California law that may occur in connection with our marketing analytics. |
Right to Opt Out of Targeted Advertising | Opt out of cross-context behavioral advertising. |
Appeal | Appeal our denial of a prior request. |
If your state’s privacy law provides additional rights not listed above, you may still submit a request and we will honor your rights to the extent required by applicable law.
3. How to Submit a Request
Submit a request by completing the form below. After we receive your request, we will:
- acknowledge receipt within ten (10) business days, including a description of how we will process your request;
- verify your identity (we may ask you to provide additional information matching our records);
- respond to your request within forty-five (45) calendar days, with the option to extend by an additional forty-five (45) days if reasonably necessary; and
- provide our response in a portable, accessible format (typically email).
4. Special Handling for End Users of Ultatel Business Customers
If you are an end user of an Ultatel business customer (for example, an employee whose employer uses Ultatel’s phone system, or a customer whose service provider uses Ultatel’s contact center), and your request relates to information processed through the Services, please direct your request to that business in the first instance.
That business is the “business” under the CCPA (or the “controller” under similar laws) and is responsible for responding to your request. Ultatel processes such information as a service provider on behalf of that business and will refer requests we receive directly to the applicable business.
If you are unable to determine which business processes your information, or you have not received a response, you may submit a request through this form and we will assist with appropriate routing.

Identity verification information | Required. We may ask for additional verification information after you submit. Do not submit sensitive information (such as Social Security numbers or financial account numbers) through this form unless we explicitly request it. |
6. Identity Verification
We are required to verify your identity before responding to most privacy requests. The verification level depends on the sensitivity of the request:
- For a Right to Know request that returns categories of Personal Information, we will verify your identity to a reasonable degree of certainty (typically by matching two pieces of information you provide against our records).
- For a Right to Know request that returns specific pieces of Personal Information, or for a Right to Delete or Right to Correct request, we will verify your identity to a reasonably high degree of certainty (typically by matching three pieces of information and, where applicable, requiring a signed declaration under penalty of perjury).
- For requests submitted by authorized agents, we will require written authorization from you and verify the agent’s identity.
If we cannot verify your identity, we will notify you and explain why. You may resubmit your request with additional information.
7. Fees and Limitations
Privacy requests are generally free of charge. We may charge a reasonable fee or decline to act on a request that is manifestly unfounded, excessive, or repetitive, in which case we will explain our reasoning and your appeal rights.
8. Appeals
If we deny your request in whole or in part, you may appeal by replying to our denial response or by emailing privacy@ultatel.com with the subject line “Privacy Request Appeal.” State your reasons for the appeal and any supporting information.
We will respond to appeals within the time period required by applicable law (typically within forty-five (45) to sixty (60) days). If your appeal is denied, you may have the right to file a complaint with your state attorney general or applicable regulator.

10. Tracking Your Request
After you submit a request, we will send you a confirmation email with a tracking reference. You may use this reference to follow up on the status of your request.
