Ultatel’s Email to Fax feature gives you the ability to send faxes directly from your email account. This eliminates the need for a physical fax machine while still allowing you to send and receive faxes. It’s a convenient way to fax when you’re on the go or don’t have access to a fax machine.
How Ultatel Email to Fax Works
With Ultatel’s Email to Fax capability, you simply compose an email and attach the document(s) you want to fax. In the recipient field, enter the fax number you want to send to, followed by @ultatelfax.com. Ultatel will convert the email and attachments to a fax format and send it to the destination fax machine. To receive faxes, Ultatel provides you with a dedicated fax number that routes incoming faxes to your email as PDF attachments.

You can send faxes up to 100 pages through Ultatel’s Email to Fax feature.
How long does it take to send or receive a fax?
Most faxes are received almost instantly but some faxes to rural destinations can take up to a few minutes depending on network conditions.
Can I receive faxes from any fax machine?
Yes, your dedicated Ultatel fax number can receive faxes from any traditional fax machine. The incoming faxes will be converted and sent to your email as PDF attachments.
